SILIGURI GETS ITS FIRST POST SHOPPE IN WEST BENGAL

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 31st July, 2015: Siliguri becomes the first city in West Bengal to have its own Post Shoppe in West Bengal Circle. Though the featured retail store is not new in India Post earlier similar VAS were added in various circles like Chennai, Trichy, Haryana etc. According to the Chief PMG, Mrs. Arundhati Ghosh if there is a good response in the service then the VAS may be extended in other parts of Bengal including Kolkata. The items which currently adorn the Post Shoppe are items of India Post like Postal Stamps, Greetings card, envelops, glue sticks, pen, pencil, India post logo embossed tea and coffee mugs etc. Apart from this, there will be items like Darjeeling Tea, Mango Pickles from Malda.
